One of the most beautiful places on the Thermenbahn, also called Steirische Ostbahn, is behind the station and the tunnel of Laßnitzhöhe. On Saturdays all of the trains run with Desiro-units, but on working days, the 2016 locos, called Herkules pass here, too. On 02.07.2011 was 5022.059 here to see, as S3 4731 "Raabradler" from the Hungarian Szentgotthárd to Graz Hbf.
